The Craft of Local Dishes

Char Koay Kak
The man behind the art.

You can find it at Jalan Kampung Besar, near the Berapit Badminton Hall. When we visited the owner, he was a very bubbly and cheerful host! He willingly accepted us, was courteous, and repeatedly invited us to try his famous Char Koay Kak. He also offered us to pack some home so that we could enjoy them even after. With over 30 years in operation and more than 100 dishes sold a day, he has perfected this delicious dish in Penang!
