Fans of the popular Minion and Despicable Me movie will surely be excited with Penang’s fun experience. To brighten up Hari Raya and Merdeka celebrations, organizers will set up a Despicable Me 3 ‘pop-up playground’ in Seberang Perai, Penang. This will be the biggest outdoor Despicable Me 3 event in Malaysia so it promises a lot of fun and excitement for people in Penang.
There will be two ongoing activities during the whole event. Each activity will be exciting and provide visitors the chance to take beautiful pictures.
Exhibition
Firstly, visitors may enter a tunnel arch and take many photos with Despicable Me 3 characters like a giant on-ground Minion made from flowers and a 15-foot tall character. Besides that, there will also be a Dome Hall gallery for visitors to take a lot of creative pictures or buy merchandise.
Starlight Cinema
Secondly, the Starlight Cinema will be showing Despicable Me 1 and Despicable Me 2 to entertain all adults and kids. If you are a big fan or have not seen the movie before, this is your best chance because it is free! Join the fun as you pack your favourite snacks, sit back, and enjoy the movies!
