Penang pretty in Pink! Another nice view of Penang, by the Tabebuia Rosea, Pink Tecoma, Rosy Trumpet Tree or what Penang citizens call it Penang Sakura will be in full bloom again throughout the month of March, and April. It turns the landscape, as well as streets and pavements into a beautiful and colourful sight. These ‘Malaysian sakura trees’ are actually Tecoma Trees (Tabebuia rosea) or pokok kertas tisu (Bahasa Melayu for ‘tissue paper tree’).
Now you can see the Sakura tree everywhere in Penang or Butterworth, it makes Penang like Japan! Love it! If you’re lucky, you’ll find yourself encountering a sight for sore eyes the moment you step out of your house!
Location: Penang Bayan Baru and Seberang Jaya area.

Hi,
I would like to enquire with you which part of penang have the best view for these flowers?
Because i will be taking my pre wedding picture in penang on 25 April 2014. I would like to have a picture from these beautiful flowers.
Thank you
Hello Christle,
As I know, on 25 April 2014, you might not able to get them due to raining days and, the best time should be around March. 😉
