Logos Hope, the world’s largest floating book fair, is gearing up for its final visit to Penang during this tour of South East Asia. The ship will be opened to the public on Friday, 4 September to allow visitors the opportunity to meet crewmembers and purchase books.
Bringing good literature to people is another key facet of the ship’s purpose. Logos Hope offers an expanded selection of over 5,000 titles at affordable prices. They cover a range of subjects including science, sports, hobbies, and family life. With children’s titles, academic texts, dictionaries, atlases and more, the book fair is something the whole family can enjoy.

In the previous visits to Penang, Logos Hope crew members were involved in various events to connect with the locals, including ship tours for blind and deaf visitors. Logos Hope is a place where everyone can feel warmly welcomed.
The 400 crew members of the ship come from 55 diverse countries and cultures. Despite their differences, they work together with a common goal: share love and care through social service projects and good literature. In their upcoming visit, the Logos Hope team will continue to serve the local community in Penang, bringing help and hope to those who are lacking in basic education and healthcare.
